Jethro is a 3 yr old petite (about 35 lbs) retriever mix, possibly Duck Trolling Retriever/Chocolate Lab. Jethro loves to run and play, he also loves to snuggle on the sofa. He is housebroken and sleeps quietly in his crate at night. Jethro loves other dogs and is great with kids. Jethro is a talented escape artist, he has been known to squeeze through a fence, clear a low fence and escape a loose collar. Because of this he will need at least a 4 foot fence or privacy fence. He walks well on a leash, more training will help him learn more good manners. Jethro would be a great dog for an active family or a runner. You can see most of our dogs on Saturdays from 11-3 at the following locations: Apple Valley Petco on 42 & Cedar - every Saturday Eagan Petsmart on Yankee Doodle next to Byerlys and Burnsville Petco on 42 and Aldrich Policies: You do not have to have a fence to adopt a dog from us, but some dogs will require a fence or acres to play. Also, Since preschoolers are more likely to be bit, we do not place dogs in homes where children under the age of 4 are present. The Adoption Fee is not enough to cover the vet bills.
